On September 25, news emerged that EU member states are set to conduct their inaugural discussions on September 26 concerning the construction of an anti-drone defense barrier. Andrius Kubilius, the EU Commissioner responsible for Defense and Aerospace, will spearhead the推进 (here "spearhead" is more natural than "advance" in this context to convey leading the effort) efforts to materialize this proposal through a video conference involving roughly 10 EU countries, with Ukraine also taking part in the deliberations. Earlier this month, Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, had initially proposed the establishment of this defense mechanism.
