On September 24, 2025, during the Fourth International Summit on the Large-Scale Application of Beidou, Huawei proudly presented its inaugural smartwatch with the ability to support Beidou satellite voice messages—the Huawei WATCH Ultimate 2. This remarkable timepiece is set to be the world's inaugural mass-market smart terminal device to offer this functionality, allowing users to send voice messages via Beidou satellites even in areas where there is no ground network coverage. To date, Huawei boasts a portfolio of over 60 products that support Beidou satellite message capabilities, with a cumulative total exceeding 40 million devices.
