Apple's latest earbuds, the AirPods Pro 3, have officially hit the market. Prior to their release, they had already sparked widespread attention and landed on Weibo's hot - search list, mainly due to the fact that they come with five different sizes of ear tips: XXS, XS, S, M, and L.
However, trouble arose for some users. On the very first day they received their new AirPods Pro 3, several of them faced issues where the ear tips broke while trying to replace them.
In response to this problem, Apple's official customer service team explained that the material of the AirPods Pro 3 ear tips has undergone an upgrade. These ear tips now feature a hybrid of silicone and foam materials. There's a thin foam layer on the inside, along with a sponge component, all of which work together to enhance noise - cancellation performance.
The official customer service also offers some practical advice. When replacing the ear tips, users are recommended to pinch the base of the ear tip, gently rotate it, and then try to pull it out. It's crucial to avoid using excessive force during this process. Moreover, the customer service team made it clear that if the ear tips get damaged as a result of improper replacement, such damage will not be covered under the warranty.
