Today, the ChargerLAB website published a disassembly report on Apple's brand-new 40W dynamic power adapter, which can deliver a peak output of 60W. This innovative adapter harnesses dynamic power adjustment technology. Its size is roughly on par with Apple's 20W charger. It offers seamless automatic power adjustment, ranging from 40W to 60W, and is fully compatible with USB-C devices.
During real-world tests, the iPhone 17 series reached a 50% charge in just 20 minutes, while the iPhone Air achieved the same 50% charge in 30 minutes. Internally, it features the MK2687 PWM chip sourced from Maxic, along with the SW3526 buck converter solution provided by SmartChip. This setup supports the PD3.2 AVS protocol. By employing intelligent power distribution, it effectively cuts down on heat generation and significantly boosts charging efficiency.
