During the second quarter of 2025, the global smart glasses market witnessed shipments hitting 2.555 million units, a remarkable 54.9% surge compared to the same period in the previous year. Breaking it down, audio and audio-recording glasses accounted for 1.618 million units in shipments, skyrocketing by an astonishing 256.8% year-over-year. On the other hand, AR/VR devices saw 937,000 units shipped, but this represented a 21.6% drop from the previous year.
