According to a report released by the International Data Corporation (IDC), the global shipment volume of smart glasses hit 2.555 million units in the second quarter of 2025, reflecting a 54.9% year-on-year surge. A more detailed analysis indicates that the global shipment volume of audio and audio-recording glasses reached 1.618 million units, experiencing an extraordinary 256.8% year-on-year spike. Conversely, the shipment volume in the AR/VR market declined to 937,000 units, marking a 21.6% year-on-year decrease. During this same period, China's smart glasses market stood out with a shipment volume of 664,000 units, representing a significant 145.5% year-on-year increase.
