Recently, certain entities have been disseminating false content, which is suspected of constituting infringement and illegal activities (the original Chinese terms "侵权违法" are retained as pinyin for context clarity). OPPO has successfully resolved multiple related cases, with some individuals involved already facing the consequences of their actions. Additionally, the company has made public several typical cases to serve as a deterrent.

OPPO calls upon all stakeholders to jointly uphold laws, regulations, and ethical standards, thereby fostering a healthy market and online environment. In April 2025, an online water army (an organized group spreading false information) employed AI technology to fabricate and disseminate false information, severely tarnishing OPPO's reputation. The members of this group have since been sentenced to prison terms, with their illegal gains confiscated and fines imposed as part of their punishment.
