The MQ-28 'Ghost Bat' unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), jointly developed by the Royal Australian Air Force and Boeing Australia, has successfully completed a public flight test for the media, demonstrating its operational capabilities. Named the '2025 Capability Demonstration,' the test was conducted from April to June this year at RAAF Base Tindal in the Northern Territory, marking a phased achievement in Australia's six-year research and development effort to independently design and manufacture fighter aircraft for the first time since World War II.
