From IT Home, September 14th news: Microsoft's most recent Windows 11 preview build (available via the Dev/Beta channel) now incorporates a network speed test button within the taskbar's network popup window. This button is conveniently positioned next to the Wi-Fi refresh icon, enabling users to swiftly initiate an online speed test with just a click. Additionally, a comparable shortcut has been integrated into the context menu that appears when right-clicking the network indicator, placed alongside options for network troubleshooting and settings.
It's important to note that this feature isn't a standalone application; rather, it serves as a shortcut redirecting users to Bing's speed test tool. As of now, this functionality is still undergoing testing, and Microsoft reserves the right to modify its operational mechanism based on user feedback and testing results.
