During Apple's autumn 2025 new - product launch event, the AirPods Pro 3 underwent enhancements in both sound quality and health - related functions. However, there was a further reduction in the items included in the packaging. Specifically, the box no longer contains a USB - C charging cable; it only comes with the earphones and the charging case. This approach was also adopted for the AirPods 4 previously. In contrast, the earlier model, the AirPods Pro 2, did include a charging cable. Apple has explained that this decision is made in the interest of environmental protection. As for the iPhone 17 series, its packaging still includes the phone itself and a USB - C charging cable, but it does not come with a charger.
