On September 10 (local time), Major General Muraviko, who serves as the First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of Belarus, announced that amid the reciprocal drone attacks between Russia and Ukraine, Belarusian air - defense troops had been persistently tracking drones that had strayed from their intended paths. This deviation was caused by electronic warfare interference from both warring parties. Notably, some of these errant drones were successfully shot down by Belarusian air - defense forces within the country's national airspace.

Muraviko further elaborated that from 23:00 on September 9 to 4:00 on September 10, Belarus engaged in communication with Poland and Lithuania through established channels. During these exchanges, Belarus shared air - situation and radar - situation information (translated as "situation" for smoother readability) with the two neighboring countries, alerting them to the impending approach of unidentified aircraft towards their respective airspaces. In a reciprocal move, Poland informed Belarus about unidentified aircraft that were heading towards the Belarusian border from the Ukrainian side.

Muraviko emphasized that the sharing of air - situation information stands as a crucial component in safeguarding regional security. He also reiterated Belarus's unwavering commitment to continuing its duty of exchanging air - situation information with Poland and the Baltic states.
