On September 10, market research firm Canalys (now part of Omdia following a merger) published data indicating that in the first half of 2025, shipments of wearable wristbands in Mainland China soared to 33.9 million units. This marked a remarkable 36% year-on-year increase, setting an all-time high for the period. Leading the pack, Huawei shipped 12 million units, capturing a 36% market share. Xiaomi trailed closely, with 11 million units shipped and a 32% share of the market.
