At 1:00 a.m. today, Apple officially unveiled its iPhone 17 series. Among them, the iPhone Air stands out as the thinnest iPhone ever produced, measuring a mere 5.6 millimeters in thickness and starting at a price point of 7,999 yuan. This particular model has done away with the traditional physical SIM card slot, opting instead for eSIM technology on a global scale. Currently, within mainland China, only China Unicom provides eSIM activation services. In contrast, China Mobile and China Telecom have yet to introduce this service. The iPhone Air boasts a 6.5-inch display, is powered by an A19 Pro chip, and features a 48-megapixel fused camera system. Pre-orders for this device will commence at 8:00 p.m. on September 12, with official sales slated to begin on September 19.
