At 1 a.m. Beijing time on September 10, Apple will kick off its 2025 autumn event, which is themed 'Highly Anticipated.' Presently, Apple's official website is in maintenance mode, preventing product purchases. Instead, it shows the message 'New Arrivals on Apple Store,' a clear indication that products like the iPhone 17 series are on the horizon.
It's anticipated that the event will unveil four iPhone 17 models: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The iPhone 17 series is set to undergo significant upgrades. This includes the reintroduction of an aluminum alloy frame, a dual-material (metal + glass) back for the Pro models, and a horizontally rectangular rear camera module design.
When it comes to the display, the iPhone 17's screen size will expand to 6.3 inches, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro series is expected to make its debut with an ultra-hard anti-reflective coating. In terms of charging capabilities, Apple will upgrade to 35W wired fast charging and offer full support for the Qi2.2 wireless fast charging standard, with a maximum power output of up to 45W. Moreover, new products such as the Apple Watch S11/Ultra 3 and AirPods Pro 3 are also slated to make their debut.
