Suspicious inventory record discrepancies prompted the supervisor to examine the surveillance footage, which ultimately led to Zheng's identification. In the end, the court found Zheng guilty of theft and handed down a 13-month prison sentence. Additionally, Zheng was ordered to pay compensation to Apple Inc., amounting to approximately RMB 29,286.
