Based on a report from BlueWhale News, DJI is gearing up to introduce a high-performance yet affordable panoramic drone by the close of this year. The product has already advanced to the production scheduling phase. Individuals with inside knowledge of the matter disclosed that the drone's design bears a resemblance to that of the Avata series. It incorporates a fully enclosed propeller guard, a design feature that not only allows it to withstand impacts but also bolsters safety during close-range filming scenarios.
Regarding its core configurations, the drone is equipped with a panoramic lens coupled with a rotatable gimbal. The lens's outward appearance closely mirrors that of the DJI Osmo 360 panoramic camera. It is highly probable that the drone will support 1-inch panoramic image capture and 8K high-frame-rate recording capabilities.
