On September 8, 2025, Qualcomm made an official announcement stating that the 2025 Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit·China is set to take place in Beijing on September 24th and 25th. This event will run concurrently with its overseas counterpart in Hawaii. (Note that Hawaii time is 18 hours behind Beijing time, so the Hawaii event kicks off on September 23rd, Hawaii time.) For average consumers, the major draw of this launch event will be the unveiling of the new-generation flagship mobile phone System on a Chip (SoC) — the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
