During the second quarter of 2025, global shipments of foldable smartphones witnessed a remarkable 45% year-on-year growth, with Huawei emerging as the market leader, securing a dominant 45% market share. Notably, the Mate X6 series alone contributed to over one-third of Huawei's total foldable smartphone shipments. In the first six months of the year, China's foldable smartphone market saw shipments reach 4.98 million units, a 12.6% increase compared to the previous year. Huawei solidified its position in the Chinese market, capturing 75% share with shipments totaling 3.74 million units. Motorola followed closely in second place with a 28% market share, while Samsung slipped to third, accounting for just 9% of the market.
