As a result of Typhoon No. 8 "Bamboo Grass" this year, Taihu Lake experienced its first flood in 2025, witnessing a steady rise in water levels. In response, the Ministry of Water Resources has initiated a Level IV emergency response, meticulously tracking rainfall and water conditions within the basin, and intensifying flood control measures.
