The Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA) has established the "Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification: Mobile Power Banks, Lithium-ion Batteries, and Battery Packs (Trial)" with the objective of enhancing the regulatory framework for these products. Effective August 15, 2025, this regulation mandates certified bodies to devise detailed certification protocols aligned with the new rule set and general implementation guidelines, followed by the issuance of certification certificates upon submission to the CNCA.
