During the first half of this year, consumption emerged as a cornerstone of economic development, accounting for 52% of economic growth, with the contribution rate in the second quarter outpacing that of the first quarter. The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced that it will implement more vigorous and pragmatic steps to foster consumption expansion in the coming phase. These measures will encompass enhancing consumption capacity and fostering consumption growth, aiming to further amplify the stimulating impact of consumption on the economy.
