Shenzhen has unveiled a draft for public consultation on the "Measures for the Registration and Publicity of Personal Bankruptcy Information." The primary objectives of these measures are to standardize the registration and dissemination of relevant information and alleviate the reporting burden on debtors, creditors, and other stakeholders. The proposed regulations delineate a clear information-sharing mechanism and establish a defined period for active publicity: a maximum of eight years following debt relief and one year in other scenarios, after which the information will be removed.
