Amazon is entangled in two class action lawsuits in the United Kingdom, amounting to a total of £4 billion, accused of misusing its dominant market position. The first lawsuit, brought forward by over 200,000 third-party sellers, claims that Amazon rigs the "Buy Box" recommendation system to favor its own logistics products, seeking compensation of £2.7 billion. The second, initiated by consumer advocates, seeks damages of £1.3 billion, levelling similar allegations against Amazon.
