Effective July 21, 2025, Huawei's Lianqiuhu Campus will discontinue the use of its underground parking area for electric bicycles, necessitating all electric bicycles to be relocated to a designated parking area outside the campus gates. This initiative aims to mitigate fire hazards and uphold the safety of laboratories, computer rooms, and office spaces. Consequently, electric bicycles will no longer be permitted within campus boundaries, and human-powered bicycles as well as fuel motorcycles must also adhere to specified parking locations. Vehicles failing to comply within the given timeframe will be managed accordingly. To enhance employee convenience, the Meituan shared e-bike service within the campus has undergone an upgrade, featuring additional stations and adjusted fees. As Huawei's preeminent global R&D hub, Lianqiuhu Campus is pivotal in advancing research and development in terminal chips, wireless networks, and the Internet of Things.
