Typhoon Wipha, the sixth typhoon of the year, is anticipated to impact Guangxi from July 20th to 22nd, bringing significant precipitation, including torrential or exceptionally heavy rainfall in localized areas. This poses a heightened risk of flooding in small to medium-sized rivers, as well as flash floods in southern Guangxi and coastal regions. In response to these potential hazards, the Guangxi Water Resources Department activated a Level IV flood prevention emergency response at 12:00 noon on July 20th.
