JD.com has officially announced that since the integration of the first batch of full-time food delivery riders four months ago, more than 1,000 families have joined forces, with relatives working as either 'delivery staff' or 'full-time food delivery riders.' Notably, some of these delivery staff have over a decade of service under their belts. Xu Ran, CEO of JD.com Group, disclosed that the count of full-time food delivery riders has surpassed 120,000, with the average monthly income for riders in major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen nearing RMB 13,000. JD.com's daily food delivery orders have seen a remarkable surge, jumping from 5 million in April to 25 million in June. The company emphasizes that its food delivery business is committed to achieving long-term sustainable growth and fostering synergy with its instant retail and core retail operations.
