CME's "FedWatch" tool indicates a 95.9% probability that the Federal Reserve will maintain current interest rates in July, with merely a 4.1% chance of a 25 basis point reduction. Looking ahead to September, the probability of the Fed keeping rates unchanged stands at 43.7%. Conversely, the likelihood of a cumulative 25 basis point cut increases to 54.0%, while the prospect of a cumulative 50 basis point cut remains at 2.2%.
