Lanzhou Airport has successfully rolled out the world's initial batch of intelligent, unmanned aircraft docking systems, marking it as the first airport in China to fully integrate automatic docking bridges into its operations. A comprehensive network of 86 fully automated boarding bridges has been established, ensuring seamless data interoperability and visual supervision with the airport's overall system. This sophisticated system operates with remarkable intelligence and autonomy, boasting high reliability and consistency, which significantly minimizes manual errors and enhances both operational efficiency and safety. By automating the docking process, the system saves approximately 450 minutes of docking time for 450 flights daily, thereby also expediting passenger boarding times.
