Zhiyuan Robotics aims to acquire a controlling stake of at least 63.62% in SWANCOR through a combination of share transfers and tender offers, with an estimated total transaction value of approximately RMB 2.1 billion. The objective is to secure a majority shareholding, not to facilitate a backdoor listing. Notably, several SWANCOR products are already in use within the robotics industry, and a collaborative strategy will be unveiled shortly. Zhiyuan Robotics was established by Zhi Huijun, a former member of Huawei's "Genius Youth" program. In 2024, the company has introduced several commercial-grade humanoid robots and anticipates reaching mass production of its 1000th general-purpose embodied robot by early 2025.
