Currently, there are 122 registered or approved pilot enterprises in Hainan Province dedicated to value-added processing, spanning diverse manufacturing sectors including cereals and oils, jade, meat, pharmaceuticals, jewelry, and petrochemicals. Leveraging the tariff exemption policy for value-added processing, the domestic sales value of such goods in Hainan Free Trade Port has soared to 10.03 billion yuan, accompanied by tax relief amounting to approximately 840 million yuan. As the cornerstone tax policy of Hainan Free Trade Port, this initiative has significantly fueled industrial growth, structural enhancement, and employment expansion, emerging as a pivotal force behind the high-quality economic development of Hainan.
