The European Commission has granted approval for an expanded label for Eylea® 8mg (aflibercept 8mg injection), allowing for an extended treatment interval of up to 6 months for the management of neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema. Notably, Eylea® 8mg stands as the first and only anti-VEGF drug in the European Union to offer such an extended treatment interval.
