On June 30, at approximately 20:50 local time, Japan Airlines Flight 8696, a Boeing 738 passenger plane, encountered an abrupt pressurization system failure en route from Shanghai to Tokyo Narita. Suspecting a decompression in the cabin, the crew promptly declared an emergency. Within a span of ten minutes, the aircraft descended rapidly from an altitude of 11,000 meters to approximately 3,200 meters and executed an emergency landing at Kansai International Airport in Osaka. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism of Japan has confirmed that all 191 passengers aboard the flight were unharmed.
