Microsoft has announced an important update regarding the Microsoft Authenticator app. Effective immediately, the app will no longer support its password manager functionality, with a phased-out approach for related features. Beginning in June 2025, users will no longer be able to save new passwords within the app. By July, the auto-fill feature will be completely disabled, and in August, all saved passwords will become inaccessible. To avoid potential disruptions, users are strongly advised to migrate their data to alternative password managers as soon as possible.
