The city of Zhongwei in Ningxia has successfully concluded the edge-locking sand-fixation project in the Tengger Desert. This initiative has resulted in the creation of a substantial sand-fixation edge-locking belt, stretching approximately 153 kilometers in length and ranging from 10 to 38 kilometers in width. This accomplishment fully meets the edge-locking objectives and establishes a resilient green barrier along the southeastern perimeter of the desert.
