Recently, the Civil Aviation Administration of China unveiled a significant "3C ban," prohibiting the carriage of power banks without 3C certification marks and recalled units on domestic flights. This initiative has effectively made 3C certification a mandatory requirement for power bank manufacturers. Effective August 1, 2023, China has instituted a rigorous 3C certification management system for power banks. Nonetheless, a substantial portion of power banks available in the market, including those provided by mainstream shared power bank platforms like Meituan, still lack 3C certification marks. Authorities are now intensifying efforts to address this compliance issue.
