The aviation and tourism sector has enjoyed a sustained recovery during this year's summer travel season, spurred by an uptick in travelers' eagerness to explore and the easing of border restrictions. In response to burgeoning market demands, China Eastern Airlines has fine-tuned its flight schedule, aiming to operate over 1,150 passenger routes with an average of over 3,200 daily flights, marking a 5% increase from the previous year. Highlighting this expansion, the airline has introduced 38 new domestic routes, particularly focusing on sought-after tourist destinations like Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Qinghai, and Ningxia. Additionally, it has either launched or increased the frequency of 210 international and regional routes, offering over 300 weekly international and regional flights. On June 27, China Eastern Airlines received its 11th C919 aircraft, which is slated to commence commercial operations during the summer vacation period.
