The PNG (Portable Network Graphics) image format has achieved widespread use across the internet. Recently, the third edition specification of PNG was officially unveiled, fully maintaining backward compatibility with the second edition released in 2003. This milestone also heralds the official debut of the highly anticipated APNG (Animated PNG) dynamic image format. As an extension of the PNG standard, APNG introduces support for animations, enabling the display of dynamic images, while also accommodating higher color depth and transparency.
