The Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission has given the green light to the "Synthetic Biology" project under the 2025 Key Technology R&D Program. This initiative encompasses a diverse array of 18 projects, including High-Throughput, High-Precision, Low-Cost Long-Fragment Nucleic Acid Synthesis leveraging Inkjet Printing Microarray Chips. To support this endeavor, the Commission has allocated a total funding of 42 million yuan, with an initial disbursement of 32.1 million yuan set for 2025.
