Xiaomi has recently lifted the curtain on HyperOS 3 (Pengpai OS 3 for domestic consumption), an operating system whose interface design takes cues from iOS 18. The icons and layout have undergone significant enhancements, and a glass texture design has been incorporated to bolster the system's hierarchical feel. According to foreign media outlets, this innovative system is projected to support as many as 96 devices and is being meticulously crafted on the foundations of both Android 15 and 16. An official launch is scheduled for October 2025. Should HyperOS 3 manage to improve battery efficiency and overall smoothness, it could well carve out a niche for itself in the fiercely competitive smart ecosystem market.
