In the wake of Typhoon "Wutip," widespread regions of Guangxi have been battered by torrential rain. Consequently, eleven rivers, notably the Beiliu River and the Nanliu River, have surged past their warning levels. Notably, the upper reaches of the Beiliu River and certain tributaries have witnessed the highest flood levels recorded since the inception of monitoring stations. In response, the hydrological center has issued a blue flood warning, forecasting that all sections of the Beiliu River will exceed warning levels within the next 24 hours, with certain stretches anticipated to reach a warning water level of approximately 2 meters. Additionally, small to medium-sized rivers in Wuzhou, Hezhou, and surrounding areas may also be prone to floods exceeding their respective warning thresholds.
