In the wake of this year's inaugural typhoon, "Wutip," the western South China Sea and the Beibu Gulf are anticipated to encounter waves measuring between 3 and 5 meters from June 13 to noon on June 14, with certain areas bracing for exceptionally large waves. Similarly, the offshore waters of Hainan's eastern and southern regions are forecast to experience waves ranging from 3 to 4.5 meters, accompanied by significant swells. In response to these conditions, the National Marine Environmental Forecasting Center has raised the sea wave warning level to orange.
