eBay has launched its innovative live streaming platform, eBay Live, alongside the 'Authenticated Unboxing' program in the United Kingdom. eBay Live offers a real-time, interactive auction experience and has successfully hosted its initial 18 live streaming events, with the objective of enhancing both the user and seller experience. Currently, the platform is undergoing beta testing with a select group of sellers specializing in collectibles and luxury goods. Concurrently, the 'Authenticated Unboxing' program offers a comprehensive one-year warranty for eligible electronic products and household items, addressing the uncertainty surrounding the definition of 'unboxed goods'. Looking ahead, eBay Live will expand its application process to include sellers from specific categories.
