In Haikou, the 2025 World Oceans Day and National Marine Publicity Day main event, centered around the theme "Safeguarding Marine Ecosystems for a Harmonious Coexistence with Nature," took place. The event was a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Natural Resources and the People's Government of Hainan Province. On this same occasion, the National Comprehensive Marine Test Site (Deep Sea) was officially inaugurated.
