Upon the release of Windows 11, the Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) garnered considerable attention and debate. However, on March 5, 2025, Microsoft officially ceased support for WSA, rendering it unavailable on the Microsoft Store. This move was anticipated, as Microsoft had announced the impending closure of WSA a year prior. Consequently, as of that date, Windows 11 users will no longer have the ability to download new Android apps through the Amazon AppStore, and all applications and games reliant on WSA will cease functioning.
