By 2027, Sichuan Province aims to achieve substantial advancements in the hydrogen energy sector, encompassing the enhancement of high-end equipment performance, breakthroughs in key core technologies, and the optimization of the entire industrial chain ecosystem. During this timeframe, the province plans to deploy over 4,000 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, construct more than 40 hydrogen refueling stations, and establish demonstration projects for hydrogen-powered rail transit. Furthermore, Sichuan Province intends to establish more than 10 application scenarios across energy storage, energy supply, and industrial sectors. The province is also committed to reducing the overall application cost, aiming to make the cost of fuel cell commercial vehicles competitive with that of traditional fuel vehicles, thereby positioning itself among the leading provinces in the national hydrogen energy industry.
