Recently, the third phase of the Zhejiang Sanmen nuclear power project has gained approval, featuring eight units that leverage China's independently developed third-generation nuclear power technology, 'Hualong One'. To date, the cumulative count of 'Hualong One' units that are either operational or have received construction approval, both domestically and internationally, has reached 41. This achievement positions 'Hualong One' as the third-generation nuclear power technology with the largest number of both operational and approved-for-construction units worldwide.
