On October 19, insights from Omdia's LED Video Display Market Tracker Report for the second quarter of 2026 revealed that while global LED video display shipments experienced a 3.3% year-on-year uptick, revenue took a slight dip of 0.2%, signaling ongoing challenges within the industry. Since late 2025, there has been a notable surge in component costs, as suppliers of essential raw materials—including LED chips, driver ICs, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and power supplies—have hiked their prices. In reaction to these cost increases, numerous brands have undertaken 3 to 4 rounds of price adjustments, resulting in cumulative price hikes ranging from 3% to 30%.
