Tim Cook stated that he would not intervene in the decisions of Apple's new CEO, John Ternus, as the two share a high level of trust. Currently, Cook is focused on global policy-related work and only offers assistance when Ternus deems it appropriate. He also advised Ternus to view his work as a career, leverage his own strengths, and not feel the need to imitate him, just as he himself did not imitate Steve Jobs.
