A low-profile venture capital firm with a mere four-person investment team has accumulated $40 billion worth of equity in SpaceX, becoming the rocket manufacturer's fifth-largest shareholder and solidifying its position as one of Musk's core financial backers. According to Bloomberg data, Vy Capital is also the largest external investor in Musk's tunnel-digging company Boring Co. and brain-machine interface firm Neuralink. In 2022, it committed $700 million to support Musk's acquisition of Twitter.
