On the evening of September 12, Kaiying Network unveiled its strategic plan to acquire a 49% stake in Neosphere Co., Limited. This acquisition will be executed through its wholly-owned Hong Kong subsidiary, Cypress Technology HK Limited, thereby enabling Kaiying Network to indirectly gain a foothold in the South Korean listed company, Wemade. This strategic maneuver is designed to forge deeper capital ties with the original rights holder of the Legendary IP, paving the way for a transformative shift in the Legendary IP industry.
Previously, NeoPulse, an indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary of Neosphere, had already declared its intent to acquire a 39.33% stake in Wemade, positioning itself as the new largest shareholder. With the completion of this transaction, Kaiying Network will significantly bridge the gap with the originator of the Legendary IP, thereby securing a vital piece of the capital puzzle for constructing a closed-loop ecosystem around the Legendary IP.
